picture art

So I looked for stuff from around their room and spelled their names with the photos I took. Some of it I crafted, but some I had to just find the right angle. I want to frame them and put them on the wall in their room...... we shall see if we get that far ( I have to re-do the E in Penny's name because it is blurry but I loved how they turned out and I wanted to share anyways!).

What do you think?

A Test

So, I'll spare you the other end of the stick....but basically, Dominic was able to read this and know what it meant.

Its been a long time coming but we've figured out one thing. Some people drink certain water to get pregnant...for us, we just have to make an appointment with a fertility specialist and then my body kicks into gear. My appointment was yesterday morning and before I went, I took a test. This happened with Penny too. Just when we've given up on my body doing the right thing on its own, it kicks into gear. =)
So I freed up my morning yesterday and spent it with Penny instead of at a doctors office.

Baby #3 enjoy the oven while you can because we can't wait to see you fully baked.

Katy's writing

So she does mis-spell her own name...but my friend Katy has an amazing gift for writing. I'm sure she hears it all the time because she turns everyday situations into an interesting novel that I don't want to put down. Katy, I am addicted to your blog and your writing. The
had me laughing so hard I wanted to pee my pants......

was so amazingly perfect and gave me much to reflect on.

She has a gift for words.......

Thanks Katy for sharing stuff like this with the rest of the world. =)

Busy face and such a mom

Scissors are seriously hard for 1 year olds..... the tongue says it all. She LOVES to paint and cut things....right now she just does fringes and totally doesn't hold the scissors correctly. Its fun to watch her figure things out.

Its been raining and kinda humid and it makes her curls into the cutest little ringlets! Love this girlers and her cirlers.
She's going to be such a good help someday with her younger siblings. She's already changing her diapers on her babies. I love it. She gets the whole setup herself.....a blankie to lay her on, wipes, diaper and powder. Penny LOVES powder after a diaper change....which I think is funny. This can keep her busy for a good 20 minutes with a constant chatter of, "thats better baby, you're all clean. Do you want some powder? Lets put some powder on baby."
Putting on the powder. Babies make her so incredibly happy...... I can understand why. We love our little Penny baby.

Penny loves to sing. Her favorite song is "I am a builder"

Some of the words you can make out....she knows the song quite well. Its fun to sing with her. She listens to a Primary CD everynight when she goes to bed and has learned most of the songs that Dominic needs to know for the primary program. Its fun to sing a s a family. What is your child's favorite song to sing?

Also, she can be quite bossy.........she's such a girl. =)

I just can't keep her costume a secret for Halloween anymore. Isn't it great?

I'm at home with Penny all day

Penny still takes a 3 -4 hour nap. It makes it hard to have friends over unless they want to come at 8am and play for 2 hours BEFORE naptime. I can move her naptime a little bit around, but when she doesn't get at least 3 hours...she's cranky.

She likes My Little Pony Shows and I will often find her singing the theme song to herself. So funny. I love this picture because her little cheeks look so squishy and her feet are so sweet. I know i've said it a million times, but she looks so much like Sean to me. Her bangs are finally long enough that they want to curl like the rest of her head.
She was reading stories to her Dolly and bunny a few days ago. Don't mind the obnoxious song she asks me to sing (seriously you can mute it at that part)...but the rest is fun. She knows all the words to a few of her storybooks but my favorite that she reads is "Polar Bear Polar Bear What Do You Hear?" I'll have to get that one on video too.....
