Pat the Bunny
This book without question is Penny's favorite. Quite often we find her digging through the books until she finds this one and then she plays with it forever. Her favorite page is the peek a boo with Paul page. Grandma Penny got it for her.

Great-Grandma Matteson
This is Sean's Grandma. We just moved in with her for a few months. She's 93 and so amazing. I'm so glad to be related to her. Do I inherit her gene's by marrying Sean? I hope so. She's always so happy, helpful and full of life. We like being around aaaaaaaaand, I think she likes having us around too. Penny makes her laugh so much. Can't wait till Dominic gets back. That'll add some more spunk to her life!
She almost doesn't fit on Grandma's lap anymore.
pizza on the Q
Since its so hot outside I've been trying to cook without heating up the house. This was a trick I learned while at Grandma Penny's house (Sean's mom). She made these yummy pizza's that apart from making the pizza crust, literally only took 8 minutes from start to finish. Yummy, healthy and it didn't heat up the house. Ingredients are:
pesto
tomato slices
fresh basil
feta cheese
you cook the dough directly on the grill. Just shape your pizza, plop it on the grill and close lid, flip it over after 2-3 minutes (on low flame) and then add toppings, close lid again and 3 more minutes and viola (Sean keep your mouf shut)....its done and yummy.
You can make any pizza on the grill too. Don't think for a second that Sean tried this, I made him a pepperoni and cheese pizza. These two were for Grandma Matteson and I. OH SO YUMMY!

I can sign!
Penny learned the sign for Dog while here at Grandma's house. She's infatuated with the Dogs so I thought it would be a good opportunity to reinforce this sign. Yay Penny! She does it all the time now.
FYI: To sign dog you pat your thigh/leg, or pat and then snap. There, now you know how to sign dog too.....

photos from our trip
Penny thinks she can stand up and walk. Buuuuuut, she can't. She loves to pull herself up on everything and stand and then she just lets go, or start jumping, or turn around. I have to keep telling her she's only 6 1/2 months old....and she responds with a "babababababa" which I think means, "yeah but I'm almost 1 mom and that means I need to walk". Notice the wet mark on the couch where she placed her mouth while she muscled her way up.
I only came as a set of 1....... bizzy bizzy bizzy, thank goodness!
Owen tickled his face with this ball......He is such a funny kiddo.
Aunt Eva reading a story (most retarded poem by the way). I don't know what I will say if Penny ever asks me what a " wondrous wet refrain" is. I'm still trying to figure it out.
hello there!
Aunt Courtney got me some glasses. Aren't they cute?
I love books. Grandma got me a new book. I love my Grandma's.
