Homemade Laundry Soap

I finally did it. I've had the stuff to make my own laundry soap for over a month. Today I finally made it. Its really great and less than $0.01 a load. =) It wasn't hard and you can find the direction on my friends blog here. I found all the ingredients at my local supermarket (AKA Raley's Belair). I It smells like my Grandma Williams soap plain (I haven't put any oils in it to give it a scent but am going to go get some fresh scent to add to it).

wow! let us know how it works. we made laundry soap at relief society one time but it used lye and other caustic stuff and turned out like a bar of soap that you grated. this is much simpler. we'll have to make some when you come this summer.
