Gordon B. Hinckley, the prophet of my youth

Today was the funeral of Gordon B. Hinckley and I could not help but bawl me eyes out as I watched his casket walk by the quorum of the 12 apostles. It was a great sight and I thought of all the prophets that have gone before. I wondered if the same procession had taken place many many times with each passing of a beloved prophet. I cannot say enough how much I love this man and the example he has been for me throughout my early years. I feel like I have grown up quickly with his passing and needing to stand taller than ever.

Love, Love, LOVE this video!! It takes forever to download, but it's worth it. I am going to play it tonight at FHE and we're going to have a lesson on Standing a Little Taller... I think we'll measure everyone on the wall and talk about physical growth and then spiritual growth... thanks for the inspiration on that one! HA... I'm glad to see you're adding things to your blog too! keep it coming! :)
